Product Introduction
The working part of the jaw crusher is two jaw plates, a fixed jaw plate and a movable jaw plate. The fixed jaw plate is fixed vertically (or the upper end is slightly tilted outward) on the front wall of the jaw crusher body, and the other is the movable jaw plate, which is tilted and forms a crushing chamber with a larger top and a smaller bottom with the fixed jaw plate. This is the working chamber of the jaw crusher. The movable jaw plate makes periodic reciprocating motions against the fixed jaw plate, and the two are sometimes close to each other and sometimes separated. When they are close to each other, the materials between the two jaw plates are crushed by squeezing, bending and splitting. When they are separated, the materials enter the crushing chamber and the finished products are discharged from the bottom.
Material of Jaw Plate
MR jaw plate is made by special heat treatment process, and the material selection directly affects the performance and life of jaw crusher. The main component of MR jaw plate is high manganese steel, with manganese content of 13%-30%. This material has good wear resistance and toughness, and can adapt to the high-intensity impact and friction in crushing operation. MR jaw plate not only has an extrusion effect on the material during crushing, but also a bending effect, making the material easier to crush. MR factory can also customize jaw plates according to customer requirements. The service life of MR jaw plates is more than 10% longer than that of traditional high manganese steel.

Jaw Plate Manufacturing Requirements
The jaw plate manufacturing requirements mainly include material selection, structural design, and casting process.
(1)Material selection: The material of the jaw plate is crucial to its wear resistance and service life. High manganese steel plays an important role in jaw plate manufacturing because of its low production process requirements and wide source of raw materials.
(2)Structural design: The design of the jaw plate should take into account its application environment in actual work. For example, the crushing plate is fixed on the front wall of the frame by countersunk bolts, the movable jaw is installed at an inclination angle of 15°-25°, and the movable jaw plate is also installed on the surface of the movable jaw body by countersunk bolts. This design ensures that the jaw plate can effectively squeeze and crush materials during operation.
(3)Casting process: Attention should be paid to details during the casting process to ensure the performance and quality of the jaw plate. For example, the preparation method of the bimetallic composite wear-resistant jaw plate involves melting high chromium cast iron and medium carbon steel into liquid respectively, and pouring them into the mold in a specific order to form working tooth surfaces and supporting back surfaces with different materials. This process can combine the advantages of different materials to improve the wear resistance and service life of the jaw plate.
