Product Introduction of Bowl Liner and Mantle
The bowl liner and mantle are the main components of the cone crusher, and they each have different functions.
The mantle is also known as the moving cone, which is fixed on the cone body with a cone head. The bowl liner and the mantle work together in the cone crusher, and they are the main components for crushing materials. The mantle is fixed, so it is also called the fixed cone. When the cone crusher is in operation, the mantle will move in a trajectory, and the distance from the bowl liner will sometimes get closer and sometimes get farther away, thereby squeezing and crushing the material. Part of the finished material will be discharged from the open-edge discharge port. The bowl liner has a U-shaped screw on the adjustment ring, and zinc alloy is injected between the two to make them tightly combined.
Material of Bowl Liner and Mantle
The main materials of the bowl linerandmantle are:
(1) High manganese steel (ZGMnl3)
High manganese steel has high tensile strength, plasticity and toughness as well as weak magnetism. Under high speed and heavy load conditions, a work hardening layer will be formed on the working surface, which has good wear resistance. At the same time, it also contains austenite. Even if the parts are worn to a very thin layer, they can still withstand large impact loads without breaking, and will not cause secondary damage to the equipment itself.
(2) Manganese 13 chromium 2 (Mn13Cr2)
Mn13Cr2 material is used. While reducing the C and Mn content of traditional high manganese steel, Cr elements are added to make up for the defect of insufficient toughness of traditional high manganese steel, enhance the wear resistance of the material matrix, and effectively extend the service life of wear-resistant accessories.
(3) Manganese 18 (Mn18)
After years of research and experimentation, the ultra-high manganese steel series products produced by our company have determined the reasonable element ratio and optimized heat treatment process. The manganese content and carbon content in the material are both high. The cast structure of the material is austenite and carbide. After 1050ºC water toughening treatment, most of the carbides are dissolved in austenite.
(4) Manganese 18 Chromium 2 (Mn18Cr2)
Mn18Cr2 material is the product of our MR company's RandD department after years of research and experimentation. The reasonable element ratio and optimized heat treatment process have been determined. The manganese content and carbon content in the material are both high. After composite metamorphism treatment, grain refinement, grain boundary purification, and controlled solidification method during casting, the casting has high hardness, good toughness, impact resistance and wear resistance, and is suitable for use in large and medium-sized cone crushers.
